Once I understand the work involved, I'll provide an estimate along with any technical considerations.

→Raise potential risks early rather than discovering them halfway through
→Agree on milestones and checkpoints before development begins

Development
Development usually happens asynchronously, with progress shared throughout the project.
→Work completed in milestones with regular progress updates
→Feedback collected at natural stopping points
→Priorities discussed before continuing if they change
→Expectations kept aligned throughout the build

Review
Completed work is reviewed together before it's considered finished.
→Gather feedback on the implementation
→Make any agreed adjustments
→Ensure technical and product requirements are met
→Verify the work fits within the existing architecture

Deployment
Depending on the project, I'm happy to assist with deployments or work alongside your existing team.
→Assist with deployment or coordinate with your engineering team
→Available to resolve issues immediately after release
→Ensure the feature is stable before stepping back
→Deployment shouldn't be the finish line

Documentation & Handover
Where appropriate, I document important implementation details and anything that will help future development.
→Document architectural decisions and implementation details
→Ensure another engineer can continue without starting from scratch
→Identify any outstanding work or known limitations
→Leave the project in a state that's easy to understand and extend
