Why Partner With Me

Successful agency partnerships are built on trust, communication, and reliability. My goal isn't to change the way your team works — it's to integrate, take ownership, and deliver software your team can confidently hand over to clients.

I Integrate Into Existing Teams

I don't expect projects to adapt to me.

Whether your team uses Slack, Linear, Jira, GitHub, Notion, or another workflow entirely, I'll work within the systems you already have.

That means less onboarding, fewer process changes, and one less thing for your team to manage.

I Think Beyond The Ticket

Writing code is only part of the job.

Before implementing a feature, I take time to understand the problem it's solving, the constraints of the existing system, and the tradeoffs involved in different approaches.

The result is software that's designed to fit the product, not just satisfy the requirements.

I Optimise For Maintainability

Projects don't end when they're deployed.

I aim to leave behind software that's understandable, well-structured, and easy for another engineer to continue working on.

That includes documenting important implementation details, avoiding unnecessary complexity, and making sensible technical decisions that benefit the project long after it's shipped.

You Decide My Level Of Involvement

Every agency works differently, so I adapt to the level of involvement that makes the most sense for your team.

Some engagements are entirely behind the scenes, while others involve joining Slack channels, participating in planning sessions, or attending client meetings.

If you'd prefer me to remain completely invisible to the client, I'm equally comfortable working that way.

Communication

I work asynchronously by default.

You'll receive progress updates at minor and major milestones throughout the project, as well as whenever I need clarification, feedback, or a decision to continue.

If you'd like to schedule a meeting, I generally ask for at least two business days' notice so I can plan my schedule accordingly.

If something genuinely urgent comes up, I'll always do my best to make myself available.

I Prefer Long-Term Partnerships

While I'm happy to help with individual projects, I enjoy building long-term relationships with agencies that need reliable engineering support across multiple client engagements.

The more familiar I become with your team, your workflow, and your clients' expectations, the more effectively I can contribute.
